Dispute Resolution
Dispute Resolution
1. Amicable Settlement
If there's a problem, we try to sort it out directly first.
Just write to us at
Most things can be resolved this way.
2. Mediation
If we can't work it out, both sides can agree to mediation before going to court.
A neutral mediator we both agree on runs the process. We split the costs fifty-fifty unless we agree otherwise. Mediation happens in Switzerland or online.
3. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law.
If negotiation and mediation don't work, the courts in Canton Aargau have jurisdiction.
EU consumers: This doesn't take away protection you have under your home country's law. Your mandatory consumer rights remain intact.
4. Online Dispute Resolution for EU Consumers
The EU Commission has a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

5. Limitation Period
Claims must be made within one year or they're void.
Exception: In countries with longer statutory periods that can't be shortened, those longer periods apply.
6. No Class Actions
Where allowed: Everyone can only sue for themselves, not as part of a class action.
This rule doesn't apply where class action waivers are legally prohibited.
7. Severability
If parts of this dispute resolution become invalid, the other parts still remain valid.
